Borracho Oats, tequila barrel-aged oatmeal ale
We took one of our core beers and fan favorites, Hiatus cold-coffee infused oatmeal ale sans coffee, and barrel-aged it in tequila barrels. Genius! The Rio Grande gifted us the tequila barrels, in which we aged the beer for six months. This golden amber colored beer has a light-medium body with a sweet aroma. The beer is crisp with a well rounded body from the oats, with a sweet oaky finish.
